Physician Assistant located in Glen Burnie, MD

About Kath Lambert

Kathie has been practicing as an Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physician Assistant since her graduation from PA school (Anne Arundel Community College/St. Francis University) in 2006.  She’s interested in treating the whole patient, not just a body part.  She is experienced in treating common ailments (such as allergies, colds, flu) as well as more complicated chronic illnesses (asthma, hypertension, diabetes).  In treating chronic illnesses, she likes to focus on helping patients make lifestyle changes to reduce reliance on medications.  She has experience in medically supervised weight loss programs.  She also likes to teach, so it’s not unusual for her to have a student in tow.  Previously, she worked as a chemical engineer.

In her spare time, she has a hard time selecting which hobby to do next.  Listening to audiobooks while driving her Miata or Jeep (road rallies & trail riding).  She also works on antique cars with her husband.  Sewing, knitting, beading – actually anything with needle and thread – her artwork is becoming more multi-media including printing & painting on fabric.  She bird watches everywhere (binoculars are always nearby) and this affords her the opportunity to travel to spots all over the country and do a good bit of hiking.  In the last year, she’s almost become a gym rat and loves working out at her local CrossFit box.  At home, she attempts to ride herd on a husband and 3 crazy dogs.  At a recent conference, her colleagues voted her the Queen of Unconventional Hobbies.
